Trosa Stadshotell & Spa is a genuine and charming family-run hotel with restaurant, spa and modern conference facilities in the middle of the idyllic archipelago town of Trosa.
At the Stadshotell you will find personally decorated hotel rooms, good food and drink in 150-year-old dining rooms or in a modern bistro, as well as a great joy and spirit of service among the staff. It only takes 50 minutes from Stockholm by car or by Trosabussen from Liljeholmen, Stockholm.
The hotel has 44 hotel rooms that are individually furnished, both with double beds and twin beds. All our rooms can be booked for a single guest or two guests. Some larger rooms can also be used as a family room with an extra bed/baby crib.
Trosa Stadshotell & Spa are open all week from last Sunday in June until middle of August. Then we do not have Sundays open. If you arrive a Sunday when it´s closed the guest must have an entrance code for the hotel. They will get breakfast the next morning as usual. And there are restaurants open in town nearby.
We accept Master Card, VISA and Amex as well as Swish or prepayment via the website.

For more than two guests in a room you must book a premium room for space to fit in an extra bed.
A small child can always sleep between the parents in the double bed, it is free of charge, but a room with a double bed must be booked.
Extra cost for premium room is SEK 200/ room and night, plus FIT-rate for ordinary room.
An extra bed or cot costs SEK 350/night and breakfast for the children is of course included.
All rooms can be reached by lift. Two of the rooms are well adapted for wheelchairs with larger bathrooms, handles etc. We can also arrange car parking near the entrance.
Welcome with dogs! We have five dog rooms, extra supplement for the dog is SEK 350 for the entire stay. This is a Classic room with the same standard as other Classic rooms. Please take into account that other guests may be afraid of dogs or allergic and keep your dog on a leash when staying in the hotel’s public areas. Dog rooms must be booked in advance. We do not allow cats or other pets in the hotel rooms.
There is a luggage room that is locked, to leave your bags in before or after you have access to your room, ask the reception staff for help.
Trosa is an idyllic little town in county Sörmland, located by the sea, 50 minutes south of Stockholm by car. It is a small, picturesque town along the Trosa River with small shops and cafés. Trosa has always attracted authors and artists, and the stories are many of their stays at the Stadshotell.
The charming Trosa became a popular seaside resort in the latter part of the 19th century. The Stadshotell and, not least, its garden was a center for resort guests. This is where they stayed and where the big feasts were held.
By car you enter Viktoriagatan 23 in Trosa and you will come directly to a free parking lot next to the hotel. There are two charging stations for electric cars that can be pre-booked, and it will cost a fee.

Travel by car from Stockholm: the motorway E4 south, 45 minutes to exit 138 väg 218 towards Trosa. Follow the signs for Trosa and once in Trosa follow the signs for Stadshotellet – turn right into Smäckbrogatan over the river and then left into Viktoriagatan until Stadshotellet parking on the left.

Trosabussen Direct bus from Stockholm/Liljeholmen. For your convenience, transport is available directly to Trosa from Stockholm. The bus takes about 50-60 minutes. See tour list and price – click here
Breakfast is always included for hotel guests.
Lunch is served 11-14 on weekdays., from middle of August until midsummer. The bar opens in the afternoon and the evening menu is served from 18.00. There is a bar menu available at other times between breakfast and dinner with, for example, prawn sandwiches.
Must always be notified well in advance of arrival.
Even when there is a set menu, you can of course have a vegetarian diet and the kitchen takes into account any allergies.
Spa entrance can be booked at the hotel.

Age limit, 18 years or 15 years of age accompanied by a guardian.
There is an exercise room with treadmills, cross trainers, rowing machine and light dumbbells. You have access here the entire day with your key card.
Trosa Stadshotell & Spa is working closely with several other organizers in town conducting activities for our guests. From kayaking, bicycles, MTB, boat trips in the archipelago, hiking, fishing, golf, to trips with lunch/picnic to Tullgarn Palace near Trosa is one of the most popular royal destinations.

At the reception there is a defibrillator available for everyone if needed. The staff receives regular training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The entire hotel has centrally installed fire alarms. The staff receives regular training in how to act in the event of an alarm. There is a direct alarm to the fire brigade and all rooms have several escape routes. All rooms are so-called fire cells that withstand external fire for a longer period. The hotel has fire extinguishers located throughout the facility.
The hotel is not staffed at night as the security company is our night guards instead. There are telephones in corridors if you need to call them or have locked yourself out. They are always available and come to the rescue of the guest. From 06.00 there are hotel and breakfast staff in the house and in the evening, it is the restaurant staff who stay late.
